healthy weight loss program

Hi. I've been searching and trying different weight loss programs for the past couple years and have come to a very broad knowledge of the various diets out there. A great how to lose weight fast solution is available at www.dropweightfastnow.com and is free. It provides one with tips and suggestions on how to eat right and get rid of fat in a health and easy way.

You see, most weight loss programs out there just aren't very effective at getting rid of fat. They promise the world but cannot deliver the results that they say they give. The reason is because these diets are not rooted in healthy eating and working with your body.

You see, our bodies are built to burn a certain amount of calories based on the work we do. For example, when we lift weights we cause our body to burn more calories repairing damaged tissue and what not. In addition, we burn some calories while doing the "lifting" part of the exercise.

The key to a healthy program for weight loss is not in starving yourself but getting rid of excess calories and burning calories while at the same time eating healthy. It's the harder method but it does in fact work best.

Running and Fat Loss - Does it Work?

Many people think that the key to fat loss is running. And long, extended periods of running is what people believe will do the trick at shedding excess body fat. Is this true? Or is just another myth like the burning fat on your stomach one we discussed in another post?

Well, it is true. Cardio does help you get rid of fat. But doing 40+ minutes of slow, extended cardio may not be the best solution. Strangely, I've found out that it may be better to do intense interval training throughout the week instead. This stimulates your metabolism and keeps your body in a fat burning mode.

Of course, running is always a good thing to do. It not only helps you burn fat but it also is healthy for you and can keep your heart healthy. I used to run all the time but when I realized that I was running 10-20 miles a day and still had a high body fat percentage, I had to make a change. And I did.

Learning how to lose weight fast is not about doing the most running or the most extreme dieting. It is about finding a balance between added exercise and reduced calories and being consistent over a period of time long enough for you to allow your body to get rid of enough fat you want.
